Struggling to decipher occupation
« on: Friday 17 June 22 08:52 BST (UK) »
Hi

I was hoping someone might be able to help me decipher the occupation on the second line here. My guess was that it was possibly 'Wool Spinner' as I know his son and other members were weavers.

I have attached a copy of the portion of the death certificate in question and would appreciate anyones opinions on what it could be.

Thanks in advance
Mark

Wool Spinner. The second o runs into the loop from the letter above.  Similarly with the p in spinner!

Hi everyone

Thanks for the prompt replies. Much appreciated and good to know that I was on the right lines. Probably explains why he died of bronchitis if he was working in the conditions of those factories.

Thanks again
Mark
