She could have been a late baptism. Another child baptised here with her.

According to census Mary Ann is a year older than Joseph.

Sorry, did not see previous post by Comberton.

I found one for Joseph from the 1851 census on 28 Mar 1850 in Dunchurch - father, John, was a railway labourer as per 1851 census. Dunchurch is next to Thurlston so I think this is likely to be him.

Could he have been baptised twice, again when Mary Ann was born?

Census

Mary Ann was older than Joseph. So was there was a Joseph who died, and another born and baptised?

Perhaps they were both baptised again when they moved to Leamington? I don't know why that would be, but it seems with this family anything is possible!

I'm struggling to find birth registrations too, can't seem to find them in 1861 either.

I can't find a marriage for Mary Ann Wright to John Jeffrey, I've tried with name variants ticked too

Ignore my last reply - I've found one, not Warwickshire, but Leicestershire, Lutterworth to be exact!

JOHN JEFFERY

There is also a William baptised at the same time as Joseph

Now I am wondering if this is a different family, as William is not on the census.
