Charles Frederick Bruce - Canada

Hello,

I hope someone may be able to help me so here we go,

I am looking for the details of a Charles Frederick Bruce who was married to a Lillian Banks. ( He may of been know by Fred. )
They were married in  1912.   
He emigrated to Canada in 1907 and Lillian in 1912

He was my Great Uncle and sadly passed in 1961 in Canada.  I am looking for any children from the marriage, I would suppose they would have all passed away by now.

If he is the Charles Frederick Bruce b 1881 Yorkshire - there is a tree on Ancestry which shows they had 9 children.   You may want to take a look or contact the tree owner

There is a Find A Grave for Frederick at Mountview Cemetery, Cambridge, Ontario with
wife Lillian, and sons Ronald and Bruce. If you click on Ronald (with photo) there is an obituary that
names all of his siblings.

Hi,

Canada and Ontario have very strict privacy laws. Each province has it own set rules with their
Births/Marriages/Deaths...eg births usually 100 years.

Daughter Lillian Bruce age 18 marries 21 April 1934 in Galt, Ontario to George Charles Dear age 21. His occupation is silk thrower. Her parents Charles F. Bruce and Lillian Banks, his parents George
Dear and Gertrude Carpenter. Witnesses Noreen Wright and Norman Wood.

George enlists WW2 but dies in London, Ontario of scarlet fever and related heart issues, 8 Feb. 1943.

And sadly another death, Darline Anne Dear b. Nov. 10, 1940, d. Nov. 10, 1940, age 2 hours, father
George Dear, mother Lilian May Bruce.

Within George's service file it mentions widow Lillian M. Dear remarried last name Kalte. Ontario
marriages are privacy protected after 1938ish. Ontario Voters Lists (1935-1980) has Lillian from 1945 onwards with husband Lloyd Kalte in Waterloo, Ontario.
