Not sure, but I can't locate a marriage for Henry Samuel Kendall at St James, Hull in 1911.  I can see Harry Edward to Mary Rose and confirmed by FreeBMD. 

And, if I just ask for Henry S, or even Samuel H, then I can't see any marriages in Hull RD.

The only Kendall death in 1947 in Hull is for a Harry E Kendall

he died 20/2/1947,
buried 24/2/1947 in Compartment no. 360, grave no. 29.
He was a fisherman of 27 Sefton Street, Hull.

Thank you all for your help I found out he was born Henry samuel But went under the name Harry Edward.  Thanks again
