I looked again at the marriage of John Valente at St. Michael's church, Ancoats, 24th February 1921. There were 6 weddings that day. All couples had previously had a civil ceremony or a wedding in a non-Catholic church. A witness for John Valente's marriage, J. Ryan, was a priest. He conducted 2 weddings that day and was a witness at 2 others. A priest was a witness at 5 weddings. A witness at the wedding of Eduardum (Edward) Smethurst & Maria Campbell was Joanne Baptista Valenti (John Baptist). The other witness was a priest. Those weddings were probably private ceremonies. The witness John Baptist Valenti was likely to have been the John Valente who married the same day.

I think we have the wedding of Johann Valente in 1911 to Margaret taylor as I have the Wedding certificate with an address of 89 Jersey Street to Margaret Taylor or 135 Jersey Street in which on the census in 1911 both are at Jersey street with johann changing to John and Margaret to annie which both anne and mary where used in peruious census i got the weedding cert his fathers name is  or looks like Honorio
looking to trace John Valente birth certificate

the weeding in 1921 does it say the brides name
