Missing uncles from 1901 Census.
« on: Monday 18 April 22 11:40 BST (UK) »
I have found all my family except 2 uncles.
Horace Brown born 7th March 1883 Conisbrough, Doncaster
Newman Brown born 1st Jan 1886     :        :             :
Searched all records for 1901 census but cannot find.
Any ideas very welcome. Think they would have been somewhere in Yorkshire.

Have you found any marriages for them?
Have you found them on the 1911 census?

Both brothers married women from Coalville, Leicestershire so it might be worth looking that way, Horacee also had a son born 1908/9 in Coalville.

I think the two brides were sisters and the daughters of Horace and Newman's mother's sister.

All I am wanting is to find out where they were in 1901.
I already have a very comprehensive family tree showing the brothers marrying sisters. Took me years to sort that out but have now got photos etc.
Why can't my family be "normal"?

Had their parents died ?
Could they have been with relatives . ?
What were their professions ?
It may help find them in 1901 ?
