I have contacted the Roman Catholic Church but they were unable to locate his baptism record.
The number of Roman Catholic churches in Grahamstown in 1869 could not be many. St Patrick Grahamstown was contacted to obtain the record but they told me to check the Cory library.I live in Australia and prior in Scotland so not east with covid still lurking.
