But has anyone  else had their own "actuals" replaced with "potentials"?
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott

Checked thrulines again just now, the correct snestors have come back. What is going on? Did Ancestry take notice of my complaint and find there was a problem with their algorithm, or whatever it is, and restore it back to what it used to be. Now the only potentials are where I haven't got any people at all, not replacing my actual ones.

How's this for a mess - I've just had a look at my thrulines and this one is new!!

The same person seems to be a cousin to himself.  How they got there, I'm not sure because my cousin has the same tree as me but somehow James, our common ancestor, has two fathers. Where they got this illogical daftness from, I do not know!

It's not just Thrulines, something odd is really going on!

I've just had a new match at 41 cMs over 5 segments and assessed by Ancestry as 4th-6th cousin. After checking her tree and finding a common surname, I went to look for more details about her by clicking on her name (in blue). When her details come up, it tells me that she

is either not a DNA match or has not taken a DNA test
.

She is not managed by anyone so it should give the usual information  in a box with our names and predicted relationship and shared DNA!!

I've been doing this ever since I had my resuls 3-4 years ago so I'm nota novice.

What is going on ??? ::)

Add - she is appearing in common ancestors and thus in Thrulines! Using her tree, she is a 3C1R

Never bothered with Thrulines gadget, but I checked some profiles and the DNA links see to be showing up OK for all the shared accounts. Have you tried deleting cache/cookies, swapping browsers etc.?
