Not seeing any of them on the 1871 census perhaps they went back to Ireland
This is the birth for Ann Christie
20 May 1868
Burntisland Fife
Father James Christie
Mother Eliza  Jack
Seems someone has put the wrong information on a tree and everyone has copied without
Checking
You seem to have the right certificates for Annie Christie with mother as Devlin

That’s what im finding but cant find any proof of it

Well if you look at the dates alone you will see that unless the mother was 11 when she had the child this would not be possible.

'Do you mean that Elizabeth Devlin (1836-1922) is the daughter of William Anderson (1816-1862) & Margaret Wishart (1825-1896)?"

It would be more likely that William could be the father, aged 20 but unlikely that Margaret Wishart was the mother as her age would be 11.

Some thing has gone wrong with these ideas.

I know that others have had various good ideas.....my suggestion is that you do a slow but sure stepping back from you, to parents, grandparents etc.  Get the documents, examine them as even with those closest to you you may find things you did not know beforehand.

Make sure to check the ages write them down beside the dates......so you don't have 11 year olds being married and giving birth.....or if you do write up and say why you know it is true so we don't have to counter these seemingly mistakes.

My other big tip is to stay away from the family trees of others until you have a good idea of your own.

Hello
I do wonder where were Annie is in 1891 census. She should have a son Robert born 1889 at Partick.
The birth looks like it is regiistered as Christie in 1888 or 1889 .
Could that address and other details help ?

As it is there is her birth 1869 then the 1901 census .
She and Robert don't marry until 1914 -why?
Is one of them already married and their spouse doesn't die till 1914.Can't see a marriage for Robert but there are several possibilities for Annie.
I'm just wondering because they may have relatives with them on the 1891.

This seems to be the problem finding Annie and her son on the 1891 census not seeing Robert the father either .
The birth certificate states Robert Christie was born 1889 Muirhead Street Partick birth registered by his Mother Annie Christie

Marriage certificate in 1914 states they were both single
