Hi All.
I am trying to find the 1st marriage of Rear Admiral Robert Kirk Dickson C.B., D.S.O. All I know is that it was dissolved on the 27th Feb 1946 at the Edinburgh Court of Sessions.
Any info will be gratefully received

What was his wife's name on the Court papers?

If he married in Scotland it will be on Scotlands People?  www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk Have you checked?

How does he connect to your Family History?

This info was easily found - presumably you had his wife's name on the court docs?

Did you check Ancestry?

The info I had came from his Royal Navy records. Unfortunately the name of his first wife was too feint to read. I have a distant connection to the tree of his 2nd wife, Joyce Mary Curzon-Howe.

Had to give up my sub to Ancestry for financial reasons.
