It looks like Samsung have multiple Gallery apps, which support different versions of Android. That probably explains the difference in UI and functionality you're all seeing.

There looks to be a slightly newer version of the app wilcoxon is using but I doubt it has any new functionality.

wilcoxon, you probably need to look for another app or use one of the online image resizers.

Thanks, I'm beginning to agree, all the other apps seem to have ads and have poor reviews.

I'll try a play with the  resizing site mentioned earlier.

Have been in touch with Samsung and they have been very helpful,  but after sending them details of software etc it seems I don't have that option.
I also tried another tablet of the same model and that didn't have it either.
