Apologising for my ignorance - can you explain and describe a 'prayer key', please.  Do you know its age?
At a quick glance I'm not seeing anyone of that name, at all.
Is that the correct spelling?

It is not old.  Rex Humbard was a TV evangelist responsible for the 'Prayer Key Family'.

He was American so unlikely to have lived in Tassie.  ;D

If the object that Ruskie has mentioned is the same object that lavender blue found, then it is located in Roma, Indiana, USA.

Thank you all for solving the prayer key, proves you can be lead down the garden path.
I really thought it may have helped me find the owner of the house.
Roots chat certainly is a wonderful source.   Keep safe and well everyone.

If you are looking to find previous owners of a house, there should be a way to do so. How old is the house?

That's because it was included in Lot 19, a collection of religious medals. Photo of the collection, including the key, is below pic of key. Most of the medals are Catholic, I recognise many. One looks like a small piece of broken rosary beads.

Yes I see that now.  :)

I only got as far as the the heading and the spiel beside the photo of the single key which says: “Up for auction is a Catholic Holy medal in nice condition. It is made of metal - measures approx. 1 7/8" x 1/2" ( Measurement does not include bail ) - marked Prayer is the Key Rex Humbard Prayer Key Family ….”

Key is a bit of a ring in in that Lot.  ;D
