Help with wording in Admin
« on: Wednesday 23 March 22 20:24 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone please help with the wording after Francis Whichello in this document where his brother is granted administration. The word I have cut off to the side is Archdeaconry. Thanks Arabrab.

Looking at it again does it say" late a soldier in General George Reed' ---"? Still can't read where or what  he was before or after Bicester

His brother is said to be of Tetsworth in the county of Oxford and I already knew they were both born in Bicester in Oxfordshire. It is  'sometime ' which was the word that defeated me. All is now clear !  Thank you

Now to investigate General George Reed.

The word missing from Raybistre's transcript is Bissiter - a common early name for Bicester.
