Ok thanks everyone for taking the time to help.

Another request for help

Winifred Dibley (nee Gough) had an illegitimate son William born in 1823 in Newbury. Some trees on Ancestry have him marrying (as William Dibley) Eliza Crook(s) on the 4th May 1844 in Shaw-cum-Donnington Berkshire. Please does anyone have access to this marriage record who can verify who he names as his father.

Additional request should have been a new post to avoid any confusion with your current thread.  Have asked moderator to sort it for you

If the tree has the full marriage date - they presumably got it from the cert as there is nothing online so maybe contact the tree owner

However - another tree on Ancestry shows his parents as Samuel & Elizabeth (nee Hill)
