Wise & Barnes marriage Kent

Hi. Looking for a marriage between Edward Wise & Eliza Barnes in the Kent area 1850’s
They had several children including my g Gm Louisa Alice Wise b1866 (Birth certificates of all children state child of Edward Wise and Eliza Wise formerly Barnes). We can find no records for them other than Eliza & children on 1861/71 census she’s a widow in 1871. Edward is a complete mystery he’s not the one who is a policeman nor is he married to Eliza dobbins as several trees suggest.
Their first 3 children were born in Kent with later births in Portsea.

Hi Carole, yes I can confirm that’s the correct Eliza Wise (born Barnes).

Unfortunately we’ve had no luck finding the marriage for her & Edward. 

Nor births/deaths of either.

Yes.
Edward and Eliza had 2 children at least die young but Louisa went on to be married to Benjamin Cornish.
It’s a real mystery 🙄

Louisa’s baptism in 1866 has father as John Edward.  A labourer
So he might go by just John Wise.

As my ggm was born landport 1866 and father listed as Edward Wise a water cress grower.

I think your 1st half of post is a different wise family in same area??

I have a photo of her birth certificate
27th September 1866
Other details as I’ve mentioned above.

Not sure about the 2nd half of your post as 20th could be 27th? 🤔
