Grant to Holborow - To this Court came Ann HOLBOROUGH Widow who held of the land by Copy Roll dated 4 Oct., 17 Charles II a messuage or tenement, and a toft of a cottage and two virgates of land, and one Le Lott underwood to which belong 69 acres and 1 rood of land meadow and pasture, whereof 3 acres 1 roof are pasture and lie ine a close called Wake, 5 acres are meadow and lie in a close behind the sd. tenement, and 61 acres of arable land and meadow previously  etc. etc.

It carries on to the next page a long paragraph and includes Ann's Son's Joseph.

In the same book on page 19 under Sherston Manor Rolls

Grant to Christoper IDDOLS - it mentions  ...... Henry HOLBOROW, son of William HOLBOROW of Oldbury-on-the-hill, in co. oc Clouc. Yeoman etc.

There are the marriages at Sherstone Magna 1653-1812

16 April 1657

John HOBOROW, husbandman, of Atherley, Glouc., & Hester VENN "were married in the county of Glouc.

also under

AGREEMENTS OF MARRIAGE - between persons whose Marriages are not recorded in the Sherston Register (1654-1656)

Agreement of Marriage between: -

Thomas, sonne of Thomas HOLBOROW, yeoman of this parish & Ann, d of Sarah Neale, of Hinton, in the parish of Derham Glouc. published Oct 16, Nov 2 and 9, 1656.

Can you please post snippets of the areas in question from the will so they can be seen in situ?
It is very difficult to make any judgement without seeing the original bits.

back to the marriage banns of Thomas HOLBOROW to Ann NEALE of Derham,  (called O/N/D 1656)
daughter of Sarah NEALE of Hinton.

National Archives shows a Will, (Pregorative Court of Canterbury) for

William NEALE - Yeoman of Dyrham, Glos. Dated 16 May 1655

followed by in 1658

Short Title: Best v Neale, Plaintiffs: Robert Best. Defendants: Sarah NEALE,* Widow .... Subject property in Durham Glos. etc.

*Ann NEALE's mother.

Family Search has a burial of Thomas HOLBOROW - 20 August 1670, Hinton Gloucestershire.

Gloucesterhire Genelogical Database shows a Will dated 1723 for Thomas HOLBOROW of Dyrham, Yeoman.

Thanks Capetown.  I know about these but I don't know if there's a relationship to the Thomas of the Will!
