thank you for trying your best to help  :) it is actually a sort of confusing one - i can’t seem to find them in 1901 but i think they may have been living together by then. they then proceed to have 5 children and then get married and appear in the 1911 census. i have a birth i believe is hers with a mother ellen but other records call her marcella. i just wanted to see what the bride herself noted as her mothers name.

Do you mean that the mother of Anne Walsh is shown as Ellen/Marcella? (Not Anne).
Is this referenced to the birth of Christina?

I am not sure then what you are looking for other than 1901 census?

yes - sorry should have made it more clear.

i want to confirm what Anne’s mothers name is. I am almost positive that the 1876 birth is hers where the mother is called Ellen. i wanted to see what she named her mother on the marriage cert to maybe confirm if the ellen on her birth certificate is the marcella in tallaght in the 1901/1911 census.

i’m not sure who’s child christina is. the birth is registered as marcella being the mother but then she calls her her granddaughter.

i cant find anne or her husband in the 1901 census.
