Hi Sandra

One of my relatives above was knocked down and killed on Granville Street, Vancouver on Feb 5th 1977. I found two articles, one of which said he had been knocked down by a car on his way to the press club and the other that he was knocked down by a bus. Walter was himself a newspaperman working latterly for the Province in Vancouver having been on a few different papers in the West of Canada

I have found a lot of information on him and other Beaver-Joneses in Canada over the years (including that he ran a business in Palma Majorca at one time) including details of an inquest into his wife’s death in a fire but what I have never found is an obituary for Walter himself.

Can anyone help at all
