1841 census lookup
« on: Saturday 12 March 22 18:54 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone please see if they can find a John Heywood in the 1841 census
 I'm having trouble finding him,
John dob abt 1826 Sandbach Cheshire, his father is Thomas Heywood.
I've found him in later census he married Emma Bailey in 1846.
                   Thank you  :)

Who was his mother?

He would have been 15 in 1841 so if he was working he may not be with parents

Have you found Thomas?

Carlin (Ireland & Liverpool) Doughty & Wright (Liverpool) Dick & Park (Scotland & Liverpool)

What occupation was give for his father when he married Emma Bailey. Anything to do with shoemaker/bootmaker/cordwainer per chance.

John

If I have the correct family he says he was born Audley Staffordshire 1861 census. Unknown in 1871
and 1881 Wilenson Cheshire (Willaston) near Nantwich? 1891 it's Alsager Cheshire.

Try Staffordshire

Thank you for looking,
it does look like my John's family
It does change where he was born in all the census
all except 1861 was Cheshire. so i will give Staffordshire  a try,

Barthomley, Cheshire
James Tomkinson 40 Farmer
Robert Tomkinson 35 ditto
Mary Tomkinson   15 FS
John Heywood 14 born in the county of Cheshire The image is poor but it looks like FS
