the baptisms aren't in the Bts images on FamilySearch. I posted them in case they helped others looking for their census entries.
 
Baptism St Peter in the Forest, Walthamstow
19 April 1863 Edward son of Frederick, chair maker, and Elizabeth Smith

James was baptised the same day as his brother Frederick, his date of birth noted as 14 Dec 1858.

Braintree 30 Sept 1853 Cornelius son of Frederick, chair mender, & Elizabeth Smith, date of birth noted as 19 Sept 1853.
