I am so sorry, I've made several blunders in this post.
Edward Edwards was born 1863.
I can only see him in 1901 and 1911 census (with wife and children), but no other census.

Yes his father Peter was born 1822. I didn't have a burial for him.

Edward's marriage to Annie Barratt gave his father as Peter Edwards. I have a baptism 19 Oct 1862, Gresford to Peter and Sarah.

If they lived in Summerhill, Gwersyllt, then Peter died in 1869. (not 1861 as I said earlier - typos are catching!)

If you use the refs that I gave for the censuses, you'll find the families.

Scroll down & you will see

As Carole has said open 1871 census main page, scroll down and select 1871 Wales census, this opens up the boxes for input of piece, folio,page.
