I have James Lynas b.1869  of 4 Mary St Portadown who enlisted in RIF around 1896 but was discharged for a wrongful attestment.  Father David, mother Elizabeth.  Looking for a marriage record to solidify his next step in timeline and found him marrying to Margaret Grimason in  Jan 1897 Belfast but his attestment is dated is April 1897 and lists his father, mother sisters and brothers as his family. The family in the attestment is correct and I have located his brothers attestments also. My issue is there any way to locate another James Lynas marriage after 1897 -father David without opening umpteen  Irish registry records which there quite a few to search through. Can anyone help me locate this record. I am really stumped here.
Kind regards,
Jan

Using Irish Genealogy site and searching for marriage of James Lynas after 1897 brings up only 12* results in Ireland so it shouldn't take you too long to check all of them.
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

* less than 12 to check as not all results will be for James Lynas

Earlier topic says David Lynas died 1907-
https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=723540.0
This topic says Elizabeth Mary/May Lynas living at 15 Scott St., Belfast in 1901-

However, I can't see anyone on Scott St. with that name (census was 31 Mar.1901 not April 1901).
There is an Elizabeth Mary Lynas (age 6), daughter of Robert, but the family are living on Pine St.-

Is this David Lynas' wife Elizabeth?
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Armagh/Portadown_Urban/Mary_Street/1030009/
Same Elizabeth Lynas, widow, in 1911?
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Armagh/Armagh_Rural/Drumadd_Town/326841/
However, daughter Edith's marriage lists her father as Robert, not David-

I want to thank you for the link to Irish Genealogy. I was not aware that you could see details of their records. I didn't find what I wanted but I found answers to other inquiries.

Kind regards,
Jmama!
