The WW1 record for George Archibald Campbell mentions his wife, Maria, of 8 Alpha St, Rye Lane, Peckham, London. His address after demobbing was Winton, Saskatchewan, near the city of Prince Albert. He was described on his attestation paper as a farmer. A search of the Winton cemetery on findagrave shows Susan Amy Knight was buried there. Unfortunately, the photo of the headstone is unreadable and there is no further information about her there.
Hi Sandra,Thanks for all the info. Yes the census is her and the obituary looks like it is too. The daughter or her niece (Marie Campbell's daughter June Campbell), married someone with the surname Short so I would think that is a link to one of the pallbearers. It seems Susan was known as Amy in her day to day life from other info I've since found.Paul
