Thank you Annette, I do realise that, my post was in response to the earlier post which stated

My great grandfather Fred died in the mining accident at firbeck main colliery  just after christmas in 1934. The news report and death certificate give his address at "Hindley House . Worksop". He is buried in st George churchyard woodsetts.  I don't know how long he lived in worksop....

He is the son of Fred Rodgers ( 1856  - 1916) and Mary Ann ( n. Smith). She was born in wisbeach  to John bonfield Smith and Mary ann. .... Apparently they both died in Rotherham

The Fred and fanny connection, previously mentioned  they're not mine.
