William and Mary Young can you tell if this is the same man

Can anyone tell me if they think the men are the same man or maybe related

I think there might be some similarities, but it's hard to be certain.

Would you be able to do a very high resolution scan of just the faces, to give us a better chance to compare the features?

First i used  japeflakes photo to point out 3 possible similar parts of the face.

1) The gents right eye (or left looking at it) is slightly at an angle in both photo's.
2) His cheeks are similar  His mouth at a slight angle.
£) His mouth is at a slight angle.

I would guess the photos are 40-50 years apart, so not the same man I would hazard,
