I think it might have been because Ruskie is a friendly term ( or was ,when my Dad was a POW in WW1,there were Russian prisoners there too, treated even worse than our soldiers. They were popular because they danced and sang etc,I had photographs but might have thrown them away when I moved ,I hope I didn’t.) for Russians ,the lady is Russian so a nice name really.
Except the Scottie was rather aloof, with a mind of its own .
There was another living nearby too, Henry, he would only walk where he wanted to go ,his owner spent ages waiting for Henry to decide Right —-or—- Left?

Rumours rumours, to wish cancer on someone—— but sometimes the lesser evil is to be wished for ,he has put the whole world in jeopardy.

Let's hope Putin does not have any terminal illness, for if he has he will not care about the world or anything else his actions result in.

According to the newspaper the speculation is that as he knows he is dying he wants to leave a twisted legacy. Twisted indeed.

What a way to be remembered !
Thousands of deaths ,and all for nothing .
I would like to see his puffed up face when he’s dead and  how surprised he’ll
be when a big man with a white beard, sitting on a throne says”  right!I want a word with you!
Didn’t think I existed did you?”

Except I’d be dead too ——

Just being silly but what a tragedy, for everyone , an ecological disaster above and beyond the human tragedies already happening .
All we can do is keep going and be prepared to be very unselfish when the time comes.
Viktoria.

;D That is my take on it too, but I thought a Scottish name for a Scotty dog might be more fitting.  ;D

Well ours was named Heather,
the other one I knew was as I said ,named Henry .
Our dogs have been Ben,( Westie) Rusty ,( Irish Setter)
Pru (,mixed breed )Tinker,( a Tasmanian devil until we got her sorted then a Patterdale
emerged and was a joy )
People call their pets what they like ,often something with meaning for them.

The most premature twins are now ready to go home ,well Harry is today, Harley the little girl later this week, she weighed 500g.
They were 15 cm long,what a miracle - 22 weeks gestation.
“ Our “ twins are miracles too,
the photos are lovely, such different characters.

A bright sunny morning I think ,not opened the curtains yet .
Phoned my friend but no answer - her B/day today.
Left a message but will phone in a while.
Hope all are well, looking after yourselves and keeping active.
Viktoria.

Michael.

I had the same thought when I saw his nuclear weapons alert.   I know we get winds from the direction of Russia, but i can't recall whether winds blow from the UK eastward to Russia.

I hope he isn't like one of those ultra possessive people who have separated from a partner and then acts on the basis of;  "If I can't have him/her, nobody can"

Read in the news today that scans have shown that catching Covid, even a mild form has slightly shrunk the size of the brain in the parts related to sense of smell and memory. Great, the gift that keeps on giving!  ::) It's not known whether this change is permanent.
In the meantime, perhaps I can use it as an excuse for forgetting things.  ;)
