Bit previous?
I think hanging back will give Putin more chance to back out more gracefully.

Then again——-?
I am sick of wars,WW2,Fighting in Cypress,Palestine, Malaya, Korea, Kenya,  Afghanistan,Falklands,The Balkans,  —-where have I forgotten?

Women should rule these things ,now that observation will probably throw  the  cat among the pigeons.

Viktoria.

You're joking, of course!

We have plenty of occasions which illustrate that the man just has to win in practically everything he and/or his country does.  Cheating at Olympic games is one instance.

He is thoroughly enjoying the "mind games" that he's currently playing.  One of his latest is the evacuation of Mariupol with his last minute directives of " yes they can leave" -- then his order of -.. "No they can't leave".

We've heard from some captured Russian soldiers that they thought they were on a training expedition.  The Russian State is using the same tactics as the old Soviet Union used in WWII.    The population is a massive 144 million people; thus life is cheap.   The army they usually send in to wage war is that the first uniformed men to meet "the enemy" have just completed two or three weeks training of how to aim and shoot a rifle and most will have probably bought their own uniform - they are considered "fodder"..  When they're killed off  and/or scattered, the next set of men sent in to meet the enemy have had a few months training with equipment and tactics.  The elite professional soldiers are withheld until they are really needed.

Rational, staid, sensible, UK experts have appeared on my TV stating that the rest of the world should not take any active part in this obliteration of the Ukraine as Putin could wage nuclear war on the rest of us.   Besides Chernobyl, his soldiers have already got control of one of Ukraine's other nuclear plants.  This plant has no food/water/bedding for its workers who usually work in short shifts then go to their nearby homes to eat and rest.  When they're extremely tired they could make mistakes and we could all be fried.

Putin is relying on everyone kowtowing to his every whim.  Did you see the quiet smirk on his face when one of his "advisers"/ministers  was so nervous that he couldn't utter a simple statement of how much he admired President Putin?

I'm all for blasting his estates with their mansions and heated swimming pools to smithereens.

I currently have a free subscription to an app that lets me read a wide variety of electronic magazines and newspapers. This morning I had a quick look to see what the newspaper headlines were, one of the tabloids caught my eye:

"Mad Vlad 'Dying of cancer '" proclaimed the headline. This is apparently according to US and UK  spies. The article goes on to say that Putin is in agony from terminal bowel cancer and that his puffy face is due to chemotherapy or steroids.

I couldn't possibly comment.  ::)

Lovely day here, was able to do quite a lot of gardening in the sunshine.  :)

I understand all that Rena,  but unless he is intent on total  world  destruction he has to stop  somewhere.
I did query my statement with” Then again!—?”
I really hope he is ill, and it is not just a rumour ,however ,my neighbour whose son has recently died very suddenly, was found after a PM, to have died from Bowel Cancer - only in hospital for a few hours.
No puffy face but of course no drugs either so that is perhaps why he looked as usual, not puffy.
There is always someone else who will step into Putin’s shoes just as with Hitler.
Viktoria.

October 7 1952 health astrology

I'm pretty sure his prime minister is made from a similar crooked mold.

"Putin's birth date chart"

I hope our governments have better sources of information than star charts.  If not, we're definitely up s* creek.

I don't usually believe in that star sign guff, but hope springs eternal.

I read somewhere that the Putin face has undergone some plastic surgery. If he is keen on going under the knife, perhaps he is also happy to have other cosmetic procedures - any puffiness may be due to fillers or some fake facial enhancers.  ;D

(I must admit that I haven’t noticed his face being particularly puffy)

Oh no Viktoria. A Scotty dog called Ruskie? What a poor choice of name. ;D
