Lindleys Buildings, Hednesford area
« on: Sunday 06 February 22 15:01 GMT (UK) »
The 1901 and 1911 census have Lindley Buildings as an area (Hamlet) in the Ecclesiastical District of Hednesford.
I have perused many maps of that period but not found a mention of them. My children's maternal grandmother lived in a cottage, Lindleys Buildings. They come between The waterworks and West Cannock Cottages on the 1901 enumerators list. I also have a copy of an inquest in the 1926 Local Courier that mentions Lindley Buildings. Thank you in anticipation.  Help, a 92 year Yorkshire young un,

Thanks Roots chatters, you have done the job, your replies have furnished me with the information to pin point the houses and a piece of land adjoining that was worked as part of a farm. Regards to you all, Oly.
