The Last Will and Testament
of me John Harvey Bellman of Down in the County of Kent
Gentleman I give and bequeath all my household furniture goods and
other household effects whatsoever unto my dear wife Annie Grace for
her own absolute use and benefit And I give devise and bequeath the
interest or income of all my share of and in the monies to arise from
the sale of certain hereditaments and premises situate in Bedfield in
the County of Suffolk bequeathed to me by the will of my late uncle
Raynor Bellman and all my money and securities for money unto my
said wife during her life if she shall so long continue my widow and
after her decease or second marriage which shall first happen I give
devise and bequeath the same monies unto my four brothers and my
sister Fanny Charlotte Chevailier in equal shares and I appoint my
brother Henry Bellman of Bungay in the said County of Suffolk
Gentleman Executor of this my Will In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand this 18th of April day of April one thousand eight hundred
and fifty six J H Bellman signed and acknowledged by the said
Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us
present at the same time who in his presence have subscribed our
names as witnesses, Witness George Snow, Down Street. George Francis
Duck Down Street. dated April 18th 1856
Proved at London 10th September 1873 by the oath of Henry Bellman
the Brother the sole Executor to whom adnton* was granted.

John Henry Bellman ‘formerly of Down in the County of Kent but late of Tottenham in the County of Middlesex’.
There are several records that give a marriage of John Havey Bellman to an Annie Grace Verrier June 29th 1854 Christ Church, North Adelaide, South Australia.
He was 35 years old, and she was 20.
