Ramsey, Huntingdonshire marriage look up Gotobed/Stacey

Hoping for more information ie father's names, age, occupation...

       Joseph STACEY m Elizabeth GOTOBED on
       11 Oct 1819 St Thomas A'Beckett, Ramsey, Huntingdonshire

I also have a baptism date ONLY for their son Joseph, either Hunts or Cambs  11 Jun 1826 (bc1820).  Unable to locate a Baptism online.   These dates were handed down to me by a now deceased researcher who cited these records (pen and paper days).

I draw a blank as to who Elizabeth Gotobed belongs to. (I have DNA matches to Ely Cambs Gotobeds but unable to find the common ancestor!)
The couple end up in Whittlesey in c1825.

There are Gotobeds in Great Stukeley - Edward Gotobed and Catherine Whyman.
(the Stacey family were from Great Stukeley too)
Also see there are Gotobeds in Kings Ripton

Any snippet of information would be fabulous

Marriage is transcribed on FreeREG but no other details.
Sometimes witnesses are named but no Fathers names pre Sept 1837 civil reg of Marriages.

Do you have them on Census with dob/pob?

I will see what I can find.

Joseph 45yrs and
Elizabeth Stacey 45yrs
Not born in County

Joseph Stacey b 1792 (assumed Ramsey) d 1842 Whittlesey
Elizabeth Stacey (nee Gotobed) b1793 or 1799 (place unknown) d 1848 Whittlesey
Their marriage, it was noted as both from the St Thomas A'Beckett Parish
(can only assume Elizabeth travelled where ever there was employment)

Kids
Joseph Stacey bc1820 possibly Ramsey Chr 11 Jun 1826 ()
William Stacey bc1825 Chr Whittlesey St Mary 5 Mar 1825 - father labourer of Delph
Thomas Stacey bc1834 Chr Whittlesey St Andrew 13 Oct 1834 - father labourer of High Causeway, Whittlesey.  Thomas buried 28 Mar 1834, late of Watson's Lane, Whittlesey, aged 7 mths

I am sure there would have been a few more kids but no records as yet.

Are the 1841/1851 census complete for Huntingdonshire?  Hunts seems near impossible to research.
I was hoping that some Gotobeds could be traced.
Records for Ramsey appear scant as well.

Grooms father is deceased. Bride, Groom & both Witnesses signed with their x marks

Strange unless Mary married a Johnson also

Joseph Stacey Jnr m 1st Sarah Fordham then Mary Johnson (nee Staines)
No sooner was Jo and Mary married they took advantage of the Bounty Immigration scheme and headed for Tasmania.  A marriage of convenience I suspect. (my Family is with 1st wife).

Well researched on the Stacey side.

Gotobed is well researched in Ely HOWEVER my Elizabeth Gotobed stops with her.

If I knew who her father was then I may possibly kick the door down.

The clue to Elizabeth Gotobed is in the marriage and any relatives in the area.

No worries Trish.

I wonder if it is well worth purchasing the Cambs/Hunts parish registers. 
I am not sure if they are indexes or transcriptions.
Some one may know reading this thread.

There is an index of marriages for Ramsey on line.   No other Gotobeds!
I can only assume Elizabeth was from another area and was working within the parish at marriage.
Stacey family were from Ramsey c1760s prior to that Great Stukeley.

Elizabeth seems to elude me!  sigh.

1841 Census is not much help as Joseph/Elizabeth are just not born in Cambridgeshire.
