Elizabeth Williams b. 1868 Llanelli.

Elizabeth Williams was a widow living at 18 Mill Street Carmarthen in 1911. She had her son Samuel B. 1900 living with her. I cannot find her on 1921 census. She may have moved again or remarried though this is unlikely. Has anyone got her on their tree? Her husband John was killed in an accident in 1900. He was 32 years old. Her other grown up children are Evan Llewellyn Evans b. 1892, Esther Jane b. 1894. Evan married Florence Evans 1915 (died 1928) and Esther married David Samuel Rees in 1913. (she died 1974)

A Samuel Williams, born 1900 in Carmarthen, is living in 1921 at St Peter’s in Carmarthen. There is also a Samuel Williams, born Llanelly, and in 1921 he is living in Llanelly Urban. It could also be another Samuel Williams, born 1901 and in 1921 living in Llanelly Rural. With the census being compiled early, if his birth date was after the census, it could be 1901. He may not have used the B. Without her birth year I cannot find such a common name, but they may be together. She could also be with one of her other children, or alone, or remarried.  If you know her birth year, it could narrow the search.

Elizabeth was born in 1868 as Elizabeth Evans in Llanelli. She married John Williams Dec 1893. Her parents were David Evans and Esther Thomas. She had another son to John Williams born 1898. (David John)

Blimey.    Thankyou so much for that. I am thinking now that she must have stayed in Mill Street. Thats where she was in 1911 although it looks like the family moved from one house to another in that street!!

the family were already in Mill Street when Esther Jane was baptised - 14 Aug 1894.

Thankyou. Yes I know that. I was trying to find out if they were there in 1921 but obviously they were.
