The GRO site indicates that the MMN for the children was Payne /Pain
and it looks like they married in the brides home parish of Stoke Goldington in 1832 (from a transcription of the BTs) and, as per prior to civil registration, no mention of fathers' names. Its 'possible', though unlikely, that the original register may have named them.
