Can I please raise 2 points as a consequence of this?

1.Francis baptised 1689 - does this record or the burial register give any indication to the age of the
     deceased?
2. In the middle of the list of baptisms you have William 1799 - is this a typo for 1699?

The burial for Francis does not give any other details - just name, date and place. It cannot be Francis the father as he went on producing children into the eraly 1700s. As for William bptised 1799, yes that was a typo, it should have read 1700. Sorry.

I don't have access to findmypast in detail but when searching Hampstead Norris baptisms for Francis Kidgell between 1689 & 1699 2 are listed. The one you found in 1689 and another in 1699

Please can you give me details of date & parents for the 1699 one

Do you know where findmypast got their info from? - a transcription of the registers or the IGI?

I must apologise again as I somehow missed that one. It is for a Francis Kidgell baptised 28 August 1699 with parents Francis and Elizabeth. I guess he was named after his brother baptised 1689 and buried 1690.
