I haven't been on rootschat in ages bu got an email saying you had replied to this topic.
if you check on my previous postings I've done a fair bit on my line regarding Alice Ormshaw daughter of Catherine adn William Ormshaw. I've got their whole family mapped out.
William and Catherine Ormshaw are my 4xggrandparents. Their daughter Alice married a Thomas Rudd. I found out about the Ormshaw connection largely to an illegitimate orphan further down the track who had his surname changed to Rudd.
If what you say is correct, then we may well be related. Its a small world!!
