Death in Venezuela?

Did Joyce Maria Scott die in Venezuela in 2009 as suggested by a tree on A********?
Joyce Gardiner was born in1923 in Stroud, Gloucestershire and is believed to have married twice, first to Jaroslav Slepica in 1945 and then James Francis Scott jn 1951 in Surrey North West. Both husbands died before 2000. Does anyone have any ideas how I can confirm this death in an unexpected location.

The National Probate register lists the will of Joyce Maria Scott who died 17 November 2009, probate 24 March 2010 at Winchester.  I am not sure whether the details you would get if you bought a copy would show place of death - but might be worth getting it.

The GRO death index does not show a corresponding death registration of Joyce Maria Scott in 2009/10, which does suggest that she died abroad.
