Todays count is 80 thats 11/day since the matches updates stopped last week. Most joined between mid Nov 21 and early Jan 22. Maybe they ramped up? Big business now, 1921 census release, lots of reach on tv and social media.

Not just me, then. I wonder what exciting upgrade is on its way - chromosome browser, shared matches below 20cM, more dots for groups...? Or a change in font type and size.

I'm not getting my hopes up for anything too impressive. But I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
If we suddenly get a chromosome browser and shared matches under 20cM, I might just weep for joy.
Just recently going through my 18-19cM again, now the unweighted amount is listed, I am getting a bit of a shock, and also annoyed, when I see how many 18-19cM would actually be up to 30cM+ unweighted, and so would show up on shared matched lists...fortunately some still show up as part of shared groups if you look at their shared matches, but that may not always be the case, if their matches to other people are also 'Timbered' and reduced.
  If there is going to be an improvement, I would hope for a big increase in the number of coloured groups allowed, using checked or dotted patterns if necessary.

Melba - when I've looked at random unweighted cMs, it doesn't make a lot of difference when only one segment is shared e.g. 15cMs -> 17

Quote
< 1% shared DNA | 15 cM across 1 segments
Unweighted shared DNA: 17 cM
Longest segment: 17 cM

but is significant with multiple segments e.g. 15cMs -> 30

Quote
< 1% shared DNA | 15 cM across 3 segments
Unweighted shared DNA: 30 cM
Longest segment: 13 cM

~~~~~~~~
Another 50 since last night including 3 over 20cM which are definitely new.
40 new matches for me up to last night. Unfortunately, the largest was only 18 cm.
Just recently going through my 18-19cM again, now the unweighted amount is listed, I am getting a bit of a shock, and also annoyed, when I see how many 18-19cM would actually be up to 30cM+ unweighted, and so would show up on shared matched lists...fortunately some still show up as part of shared groups if you look at their shared matches, but that may not always be the case, if their matches to other people are also 'Timbered' and reduced.
The worst one I've noticed is one of my matches...9cM where the unweighted amount is 25cM. What's going on there?!
My theory about shared segments doesn't fit  :(
The one I've got that really irks me is 10cM over 1 segment but 21cM unweighted. This match could help with a huge brick wall but being below 20cM weighted means I can't see any shared matches with them. And they're a 3C1R with MRCA in the 1800s, not a 7C going back a hundred years before that.  >:(
Hi Gadget
I got my figure slightly wrong (I was on my phone earlier).
It is 9cM across 1 segment, unweighted shared DNA 32cM, longest segment 32cM!!!
It's that Timber algorithm and the assumptions it's based on!
Add - more about it here, if you've not seen how it's applied:
