I have a similar problem. We've discovered my GrF Albert Parker was born in India in 1883. We suspect his father was called Thomas Parker (serving over there in the army) but don't know his mums name or where they lived before they went to India.
Does anyone know where we can obtain serving army members or travel documents to/from India around that time?
