Good find, Jo!
Likely baptism Pelsall 2 Oct 1803 Harratt daughter of Thomas & Hannah Poxson
same day as William son of Joseph & Ann Russell who could be related to John?
Marriage Walsall 13 Feb 1802 Thomas Poxon & Hannah Jobber
Burial Stonnall in Shenstone 15 Dec 1844 Hannah Poxton 62 Ogley, late of Catshill
I have discovered that Joseph Russell was a witness at the Wedding of Thomas and Hannah. I am now trying to work out their connection. I do now think that I have the right people. I cant find any other nailor in Shelfield with the name John, I still cant find a birth for Thomas but it makes sense that if Harriet married John and her maiden name was Poxon then its likely their son that is staying with Grandparents.
