William Isaac Locker

I posted a few years ago about the elusive William Isaac Locker and I have still had no luck finding any info on him before his marriage to Mary Simpson (1886, Kirkdale Liverpool).

From censuses & marriage record I know he was born around 1860-1865 in Gorton, Manchester. His marriage certificate suggests his dad is 'William Locker'. At some point he moved to Liverpool where he married and had several children.

Any help at all much appreciated!

What was his occupation on the marriage please.

If this is his death it would suggest he was born 1861 but no GRO registration.

My money's still on William Isaac Edge born Chorlton RD (which would be right for Gorton) in 1860. Mmn Cook per GRO. More research required...

Thanks all - yep I'll look into the William Isaac Edge line of enquiry.

And also correct is the death 1937 putting his DOB c.1861

Eliza D Barlow/ Edge married Benjamin  Locker in 1869 at St Andrews Church Ancoats

Any connection?

Eliza D Barlow married Thomas Edge in 1863 at St Thomas Ardwick.
