Look up request for Hadlow / Wells marriage Snodland, Kent FHL Film Number:9925

Hi everyone - just wondering if anyone can look up a marriage in Snodland Kent - the FHL Film Number:   992535 - date is 22 September 1836 - parties are John Hadlow and Ann Wells.

Just after any additional information that might be gleaned about my forebears - witnesses, parent's names whether they were of the parish or even ages would be terrific. Thanks so much!

Thanks Bee - that was quick! Frances is new - so will look for her - I'm fairly certain John's father was called William.

There is lots of information to be found on the Hadlow family on the Snodland Historical Society website

Also look under documents -> download names from overseers accounts  1769 - 1800

I can only see one Frances Hadlow, the wife of William.  She was buried 17th January 1841 so will not be on the 1841 census.

added:  It looks likely that John was the illegitimate son of Frances Mercer. This John had a middle name of Crowhurst, perhaps his father's name
