Hello, I am seeking information about the Beach family when they were in Tanworth in the 1700s and early 1800s, of whom Thomas Beach was an early founder of Avery Scales before he passed the business on to the Avery family. There was a RootsChat topic about this 11 years ago and for reference I am attaching a Beach Tree * which jim1 found and attached in that post.
I am descended from Richard Beach 'of Winson Green' (1742-1816). My 3x grandparents William and Maria Beach were buried in Richard's vault in the mid 1800s, William being a grandson. (I have quite a lot of information about this branch of the Beach family if anyone is interested)
Richard, I believe, was part of the early brass industry, and considered wealthy when he died. I'd like to know any information, but my main 2 questions here are:
(1) Re "George Beach/Bache of Blackford": He appears to have been married in Solihul and his children born in Tanworth (Family Search). Would anyone know what 'of Blackford' might mean? A house perhaps? (Perhaps not coincidentally, according to an Internet Archives publication search, a Bache family did live in another place called Blackford in 1400 or 1500s or so.)
(2) I know I am related to Richard of Winson Green because the grave's memorial says he is a grandfather. His and wife Mary Maria's children were Richard, John, Sarah and William. But I am missing the son who produced William Beach his grandson. Through one source I am lead to believe the son was called Thomas (who married Sarah). Would anyone know anything more?
Thanks for reading, hope someone has a clue or two

* note: I have no idea where this tree came from other than jim1 posted it and apparently found it on the Avery Scales website 11 years ago, where it is no longer available. I would assume Avery Scales had included the tree as part of a detailed history of their business. Unfortunately, now Avery Scales has airbrushed out Thomas Beach, and all its interesting history details and it now only rates a mention in RootsChat and a page on Grace's Guide (see
