I found an article on a relative who committed a crime and could pay a fine or be locked up.I found walsall archives had booklet with the court cases for the magistrates cases.he did n't pay up and was locked up for a period of time. The commence was committed in walsall. So it could be in a local archive.There's hardly anything entered though. Also i have seen some collections on i think ancestry.
