FAO Moderators, University Project Questionnaire

I was unsure where I should post this message so I put it in the common room, apologies if this is the wrong place for this.

This is mainly a question for the moderators of the site. Basically I am current studying computing at the University of Worcester and for my final year project I have decided to merge by two favourite studies, computers and history (in particular family history).

I am looking to develop a piece of software to analyse census returns. To achieve this I could do with asking people to fill in a brief questionnaire to find out how people use their computers to store census data and what analyse tools they would like to see in a piece of software.

Before I start drafting questions I just wanted to make sure that I would not be breaking any rules on rootschat by posting a link to the questionnaire. No personal details would be requested, it would be completely anonymous and the data would be deleted as soon as my project has been graded.

Thanks Sarah, any help would be much appreciated. I will let you know before I post a link to the questionnaire.

I would tend to agree Erato, but the University insists that all data obtained for the project is deleted after it has used so that we don't fall foul of the Data Protection Act.
