There was a William Hensley in Broadway who was among the subscribers, which included Sir Thomas Phillipps Bt., to the History of Toddington by John Britton in 1840 and another C.F. Hensley who was living at Brook Bank, Broadway circa 1872. William Hensley was employed by the Phillipps family.
