Is anyone able to tell me where the McKeddie alias in the Cameron family comes from? I believe it occurs in various Cameron families.
I am interested in the family of Donald Cameron, alias McKeddie who married Margaret Robertson in 1810 at Ardersier. The marriage is also listed in Auldearn parish, Nairnshire (the bride's parish) but Donald is just listed as Donald McKeddie (no mention of Cameron).
