St Peter Port Marriage help

Hi, I'm trying to find info on a couple in St Peter Port.  William Morton Lane Morton married Gertrude Eliza Gould sometime between 1915 and 1925.  He was born in England, and her father was from Jersey.  I have found a possible father for her, Clarence, but really need to see a marriage entry to confirm this.  If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated. Death for Gertrude Eliza Morton age 91 in Plymouth has a birth date of 10 Apr 1893. 

Seems to fit the daughter of Clarence but appreciate you wanting the marriage for confirmation.

No birth registrations for any of the children on family search but only one Gertrude above born around 1893.

I think this may be him, it ties in with 1901 census.

I think this below may be the Mary with William in 1901, however from thecensus information , I would think Williams mother was more likely one of Charlottes other children?

I think it is likely that William and Gertrude married on Guernsy, however Registration of marriages did not begin until 1919, before which marriages can only be found in the church registers. None of these records can be found online. The States of Guernsey Greffe (Guernsey’s Registry Office) holds the originals, and they are available on microfilm in the Priaulx Library.
