Marriage between John Whittaker and Susannah Stanworth March qtr 1854 Burnley 8e 810

According to lancashirebmd that marriage was at Burnley St Peter's.

It's entry no. 281 in the register, so you could post a lookup request and somebody going to LRO (possibly me, next Tues!) could look it up for you.

Hi Aulus,

This posting was originally posted in 2005, details could have been found by now,

The Briercliffe Society link has been added to a few old postings just lately!!

I would PM or ask 'Windflower' if they have details now, as you don't want  be looking for details they have and have a wasted search

Hi Aulus

Thanks for your message on the thread and for your offer of a (possible) lookup.

CanCan was correct in their assumption as I have had the details of John and Susannah's marriage for some time - it took place on 25th February 1854 at St Peter's Church, Burnley.

Just goes to show that no matter how old some of the messages on these boards are - there's always someone looking at them, and offering advice, which is fantastic!

Thanks again, and hope you find what you're after at the LRO next week!!

Cheers!  Alison x
