I see you are researching HAMES of Leicsester, I to have HAMES. Starting with Benjamin HAMES married to Mary Ann YOUNG of Loughbough  1807 Benjamin was a Shoemaker. they had 5 children that I know of 
Joseph  b  1810, m Sarah Emma Hollier
William b 1816 m Catharine Bonnett.
Francis b 1817 m Mary Angrave.
Louisa b 1821 m Mr Conway.
**John b 1824 m 1# **Elizabeth Ellis in Leicester, 2#  Mary Goodridge in Devon

Yes I am researching the Hames family, however as yet I have not come across a benjamin Hames, My earliest Hames was a Caleb hames who married a Mary Glasco. then from their Son William Anthony hames

At this stage I dont think I have a Caleb Hames in my tree. Do you know when he was born? I looked for a marriage for him and Mary Glasco also a birth for William Anthony, with no luck. Just thought they may be later family to mine.
