Is this Daniel and Mary Ann in 1911?
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Antrim/Shankill/Lesley_Street/172094/
Mary Ann states 11 children born alive and 6 still living. Have you the names for the deceased children?

So do you have all Daniel’s children with the ones who died?
You would then know if James was still alive in 1911.

Well that helps. Where did he die? Who was the informant? Was he a widower or married?
