Death Notices in Newspapers

I have looked for death notices in the newspapers (through Ryerson Index) but none of the three deaths I am looking for, appear to me, to have not as yet been digitized.

1. Helen Rosalie Prescott d. 2009  The Advertiser (SA) on 4 March, 2009

2. Rosalind Madge Bierwirth d. 1983  The Age (Melbourne) on 9 April 1983

3. Rudolph Bierwirth whose notice appeared on 29th and 30 November, 1993

Is anyone able to help please?  Hopefully the death notices would give me more information than I have currently.

The State library of Victoria will have the Age on microfilm and you can use their 'Ask a librarian' service.

They are however currently closed - @#$% Covid!

SA is relatively germ free but are also currently closed so you will have to keep an eye on reopening times.

State Library of NSW is also closed until end August (at this stage!)  We cannot travel further than 10km from our homes, so even if it were open, I still can't attend!

Hi Ancestry have "Australia, Newspaper Vital Notices, 1831-2001" and I found Rudolf's Death and Funeral Notices in the Age 30.11.1993. It is not Indexed so you have to manually search.

If you do not have access to Ancestry send me a PM with your email and I will send you the notices.

During the pandemic Ancestry have been giving free access to their Library Edition from home, if you have a NSW State Library card, or Australian National Library Card, using their e-resources. (For a couple more months only I think).

I can also give you jpgs from THE AGE (Melbourne) for Rudolph BIERWIRTH - DN 29/11/1993 & 30/11/1993 plus Probate from 13 December 1993. Probate will give you his address; unfortunately Executors not family members, but solicitors.

No joy with Rosalind BIERWIRTH notice - I don't have access to 1983 of The Age.
As stated by Debra, you could get this from State Library of Victoria but they probably charge.
If you are located in NSW you can get it from SLNSW also but I believe their charge is something like $16.50 (though it may be more, now, as that was a couple of years ago).
